Elements Advocate group will be presenting a show of a bunch of artists as of tomorrow night in Sydney, in conjunction with the well known and loved Monster Children.
“The artists we work with via the Element Advocate Program are bigger than the program itself, far bigger.
Each one of them has a serious and dedicated career as an artist. They’ve established themselves by doing unique and head turning work within the Contemporary Artist genre, sometimes referred to as urban art, street art or whatever other group title it gets.
The exciting thing for brands within our industry is that the genre itself is built on the same ideals as the youth market. Like skateboarding and fashion in particular it’s renegade, independent, has little consideration for traditional methods, endures ridiculous passion, and is damn exciting.
For Element, with it’s roots in skateboarding, artist relationships have been integral, and the artists celebrated, since the day the doors flew open in 1992, so with that appreciation the Advocate Program was a natural evolution.”
