Jumbo and Zap have been working collaboratively together since 2003, and in that time have bought their quirky and curious work to a whole new level.
Next week sees them putting on yet another display straight from their profuse imaginations, with their “Planetarium” show at the LoFi Collective in Sydney – and, like always, it looks to be a half glass mad, a half glass brilliant – but totally full of awesome.
“Everything has been done. We are in a state of flux, going over the same ground, searching for meaning where it has never been,
believing things that don’t exist….
Planetarium offers the detritus of that imaginarium with a dizzying array of pictures and fractured thoughts and captured moments. One part Dr Parnassus, one part Barbarella mixed in with awhole lot of otherworldly states of mind, the planetarium is here and opening its doors…..”
