The National Grid steps up once again to showcase a variety of upcoming Australian artists of an urban ilk, in this wonderfully themed exhibition opening next week. Sideways is an annual charity event,
“This year we will be setting up at The National Grid Gallery in Brookvale for a huge opening night with the Balmoral Boards Season Opener party. It’ll be a massive opening night packed with Live painting, DJ’s, Snowboard movies and of course the Sidewayz Art Exhibiiton.
Sidewayz 2011 continues to be a charity exhibition, and the silent auction will open Saturday night. You will be able to keep tabs on the board you want through the online bidding system through the following week.”
It’s always good to see fundraisers for worthy causes, and lets hope this participates in helping out our kiwi brethren – and its a great chance to pick up a custom board, be it street, or snow.
