We love illustration to death, but we adore printmaking, especially dedicated print makers who have honed their craft. We’re also always on the collaborative tip – and here is another great show that looks to be a great blending of both collaboration, illustration and print making.
Oh, copper plate goodness, how we love thee.
“For the past two years Kyoko Imazu and Damon Kowarsky have collaborated on a series of prints exploring themes including nature, science, art and technology.
Their prints are made using use a simple collaborative system. The images are etched onto copper plates and printed by hand at the Australian Print Workshop Fitzroy and Trinity Grammar School Kew.
Together they have produced works of great subtlety, variety and humour.”
