With the Everfresh residency in the NGV Studio space ending last week, we were all wondering what was up next, until we saw a sneak preview video of Inherent Vice. Since then, we’ve seen a bunch of info on the new event, and we’re pretty excited to check it out …

Inherent Vice will be a showcase of eight independent Melbourne cartoonists, working together for twelve hours a day, every day, for five weeks! With the talents of such innovative and enjoyable artists such as M P Fikaris, Pat Grant, Michael Hawkins, Rebecca Clements, Sarah Howell, Mandy Ord, Simon Hanselman and Ben Hutchings on display, this is something different, and oh so very cool.

In their time there, the artists will be creating cartoon strips, DIY zines and other artworks as a collaborative, as well as their own personal works – we can’t wait to see what they come up with!
