The Paper Mill are revealing a banquet of delectable pieces of abstract art for you all to feast on in the form of The Kids Are All Right. Opening tonight, you will be able to begin sampling the delights of Emma Beer, Fernando do Campo, Courtney Foote, Minna Gilligan, Miles Hall, Greg Hodge, Dionisia Salas-Hammer, and Arryn Snowball.
Two artist that caught our attention were Emma Beer and Fernando do Campo, who have proved not only to be academically making themselves be heard but showing they can both, in true abstract form, pull thoughts from you that you never thought you’d think with methodical and intuitive approaches to colour and shapes.
“The Kids Are Alright’ is a group exhibition of works on/of paper by a selection of artists aged under 35, whose practises are increasingly recognised as indicative of new ideas and approaches to abstraction.”
Don’t worry about eating all you can in one sitting as you have from the August 23 – September 11 to completely satisfy yourself. The Kids Are All Right will be showing at Angel Place, Ash St Sydney.
