The massive Outskirts Festival is coming up in WA pretty soon, with a massive slew of creative talent set to display, perform and generally cavort around the Northbridge neighbourhood. Exhibitions, workshops, pop up stores will be found throughout the laneways and streets, and it looks to be a mighty good day in P-town. It’s good to see a festival of this kind!

“Bought to you by OnWilliam.com, Outskirts is set to fill Northbridge with over 100 events in 34 venues for the one day festival.

Street stalls, workshops, exhibitions, pop up stores and more will fill the streets, laneways and local stores.

Grab your special Passport to guide you through the world of Outskirts, as you discover a heap of hidden spaces filled with creations from West Australian designers.

On your journey fill your Outskirts Passport with stamps and collect a set of free official Outskirts Souvenir Pins from 11 OnWilliam venues.

One of the events that is a part of Outskirts, is SWAP – a big experimental portrait group show that is on for the day of the festival only! “SWAP showcases work of 24 local and interstate artists. Participants were paired together at random and asked to complete a portrait of their partner. Swap includes work by visual artists, textile artists, designers and photographers. We are showing for ONE DAY ONLY – 25th of September. The event is part of the Outskirts Festival so there are lots of things to see and do in Northbridge that day!”
