This Thursday, our mate Cleo Barnett brings in the seventh installment of First Thursdays and the last for this year, a Seattle based event brought to Auckland’s K Road and the surrounding areas.

“First Thursdays aims to connect people with each other through ideas, art and music. By bringing creative people together, First Thursdays will contribute to Auckland’s flourishing art scene and the local, eclectic culture of K Road.

This time around First Thursdays will be showcasing live painting, a number of art exhibitions, live music, circus performance and some rad installations across multiple venues as well as our ever growing handmade craft market, a music market, a jade carving workshop, a screen printing workshop, a fashion show, large scale projections, plus a few surprises too. We won’t spoil all the fun :) Keep your eye out for volunteers that will be passing out event programmes and maps on the night. “
