We’re definitely well and truly into 2012 now, and Lo-Fi has already swung into action. This next show has a whole bunch of familiar names in it as it and explores a theme that engenders all forms of debate and opinion.
“Freedom of religion has given way for a departure from traditional religions to more personal forms of worship. Infamous icons such as the cross or Mother Mary replaced by tools to create such as the skateboard or aerosol can. New god like creatures and fictitious fantasies are created to replace traditional stories of religion followed for generations.
Worship Nothing explores the iconography within contemporary subcultures.”
Nothing like a good dose of religious-replacement imagery to get people talking, and, once again, it looks like Lo-Fi has the goods!
