The Invurt crew got down to RTIST Gallery last night to check out New York City Kings, a collection of canvases, sketches, prints and drawings on subway maps from a bunch of old school NYC graffiti pioneers including Ghost, Tracy 168, IZ the Wiz, and members of the The Death Squad, amongst others.
With King Excel cutting fresh beats and Lupe Wines (seriously, what an awesome idea – the biggest revolution in wine packaging since the goon bag!) and Doss Blockos providing a tasty assortment of beverages, it didn’t take long for the large crowd to settle in and seep up some New York subway goodness from the kings of an era.

NYC Kings runs until March 18th. Make sure you check out the tributes to Cap and Dondi out back – awesome installation.
