Last Thursday we got down to “Killing It”, a small installation show from two of Melbournes hottest artists right now, E.L.K., who was, on the day of the opening, named an Archibald finalist, and Adnate – who has been going all out on the walls of Melbourne lately, painting his way towards his solo show in the middle of the year.
The show itself was inside Molecule Gallery, a brilliant little hive of creativity nestled above Bourke St. When we got there, the interior of the room had been taken over by a large wooden frame wherein both the artists had made their mark in an pretty impressive way.
Really was an impressive little show with a difference, you can tell the pair had fun mashing it up. The show is still on for a couple of weeks, so if you’re around Bourke St in the Melbourne CBD, head up the elevator and check it all out.
