Brisbane is really ramping up over April, and we’re happy to see another show up at Jugglers Artspace featuring a name we’ve been seeing popping up for a while – Keiron McMaster.

“Recognised for his low brow retro pop contemporary work, Brisbane born and bred Keiron McMaster is fast becoming one of Australia’s well respected artists.

Growing up in the 80’s and 90’s, Keiron’s world was heavily immersed in Disney, advertising, horror movies and skateboarding. These influences, along with bold colours and a variety of techniques, allows Keiron to manifest and transform the characters etched into his memory from childhood, into a somewhat disturbing imaginary world. By questioning identities, his work generates engagements with it’s audience, with each viewer developing a highly personal response to what they see.

Bringing his unique style to the public since 2008, Keiron has been popping up in group and solo shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, as well as numerous live paint-offs in clubs, music festivals and shows across Brisbane and the Gold Coast. As he continues to push the boundaries of his imagination, Keiron is gaining a strong local and international collectorship for his vivid, iconic paintings.”

Love it – this looks like a great show from an artist whose work we really enjoy seeing!!
