This week, Ears will be presenting a whole new body of work in his next solo show, False Freedoms.
“Tackling the figure, abstraction and colour play, the uniform acts as a vessel for a shift into loose figuration.
The uniform represents security and the comfort zone. New steps into uncharted territory, although frightening at first, quickly, become just a new safe haven, and we must break free once again. ’
The comfort zone, is a false freedom.”
There’s a great preview over at the Opening Hours. As always from Ears, you can probably expect a whole swath of incredible pieces – so head down to Soliders Rd Gallery this Thursday and see if for yourself!
