Snapshots – TEES – Exposing Melbournes T-Shirt Culture

Well, to be honest, the only other display of t-shirt artistry that has even come close to beating TEES at the NGV was at Outpost Project last year (RIP Outpost – boooo), and, not surprisingly it was from the same brainchild behind T-World mag, Eddie Zammit! This time, Eddie was joined by the talented Just Another crew to give Melbourne a taste of what people who didn’t attend missed out on up on the island –  and then some! It was different in many ways, as this time it focused purely on all the talent we have here in the ‘burn – what what a load of talent it is, and damn, what an exhibition.

Opening night was grand, with shirts galore, a mad live screen-printing effort from the Hit + Run Oz team as well as mad assed photography and profiles of the creatives from Nicole Reed. The best thing about it all? The show is on until February – so even if you’re just passing by the city, make sure you stop in and see it for yourself.

Thanks to Dave Russell for the opening night snaps!
