Over the past few months, Ero embarked upon a rather cool little project in his spare time to paint up one of the latest additions to the Melbourne food truck renaissance – Ghost Kitchen.
“‘Ghost Kitchen’ came about due to there being ceremonial customs where food and drink is provided to ghosts, gods and ancestors in Taiwanese culture.
Ghost Kitchen’s food is a reflection of Taiwan combining both traditional and contemporary approaches. With a sense of duty and respect for the traditions of Taiwan the catering menu remains faithful to the recipes of Taiwan’s ancestors. We believe in food that is essentially healthy, nutritious but with an explosion of flavour.”
Sounds like some good damn food to me – and Ero, a rad New Zealand ex-pat living here in Melbourne, was particularly well suited with his style to this whole presentation, as you can see from all the awesome photos that David Russell got for us below!! Enjoy!
