It’s definitely summer, and along with the sun always comes the inevitable cool Sunday sessions – and for the next two or three months, Trunk has us all covered in those regards, with a brand new series of live art featuring a couple of artists whose names you know.

“There’s nothing quite like witnessing an artist in the flesh, a beast you’ve read only of in blogs, seen in magazines or heard of in whispers. And for Melbourne, a city well known for producing the most renowned and revered
street artists the world has seen, nurturing and aiding their way of life comes second nature.

That’s why Trunk is chomping at the bit to take Melburnian’s on a weekly adventure, parading Melbourne’s best artistic talent by setting them free.

Visit ‘The Zoo’, a weekly Sunday Safari exhibiting Melbourne’s best street artists painting LIVE on canvas from 2pm-7pm each Sunday. Proudly sponsored by Sailor Jerry and Budweiser, get lost in one of their Perfect Storms (or seven) or reach the bottom of more Bud’s than you dare count as our street artists blow you away in the Beer Garden whilst DJs nurture both all with new and old jungle beats.

Obviously, we’re big fans of live art events in general, and as this one is in our immediate neighbourhood in the city, we’ll definitely be checking it all out. We’re also looking forward to seeing who else they get in their lineup,and seeing how all the art plays out!
