From his works of graff out on the streets to where he is now – Adnate has certainty had an amazing journey over the past few years, as he has taken his art from the streets of Melbourne to become one of Australias top artists, known throughout the country, and the world, for his vividly emotive portraiture.

Over the years Adnate has produced many works paying homage to indigenous Australians, and this show will be the first time he focuses fully on the subject.

“Working mainly with aerosol spray paint, Adnate pays homage to his origins as a graffiti artist and his complex practice rivals the establishment of contemporary portraiture.  He has an innate ability to deliver the intense impact of light and shade that plays across his works no matter their scale.  It’s the fusion of his passion for indigenous Australians combined with his graffiti background and his knowledge of contemporary and traditional fine art techniques which creates truly masterful paintings on canvas.
For years to come, this body of work will provide a window to the soul of Adnate and Australia’s indigenous community.”

With a large majority of the works in the show already sold, we can’t congratulate Adnate enough on this show – its more than well deserved, and all thats left is for us to see it for ourselves!! Cant fricken wait.
