Friday is shaping up to be a busy night, and one of the things that you can’t miss is Beastman’s latest solo show at Backwoods Gallery – Future Origins.

“‘Future Origin’ will be a continued exploration of Beastman’s vision of the future. Beastman’s work depicts a latent cosmical ecosystem of hope and survival; a world inhabited by new lifeforms whose supernatural origins are suggested through concentric symmetry and vibrate details.

In parallel to the development of his narrative universe, “Future Origins” presents the development of Beastman’s visual aesthetic. It will be an striking collection of work which reflects a dedication to experimentation and to the refinement of technique.

’Future Origins’ will consist of a series of acrylic and ink paintings on wood, large wall installations, prints, sculptural work and an array of experiments with video animation. Working within the confines of each medium, Beastman will present a cohesive visual narrative that is greater than the sum of its parts.”
