I’m excited to announce Rone’s 1st Solo show in Melbourne in over 2 years, Empty, opening this Friday night at 247 Johnston St, Fitzroy.
Rone is by far one of my favourite artists, in fact, his famous Jane Doe image was definitely the reason many years ago I got hooked on Street Art as well as the 1st piece of art in my collection. I’ve also spent a week in San Fran with him helping to painting a mural, so you could say I am a bit of a Rone fan, but enough about me…
About the show: “The exhibition, Empty, opens October 14th in the soon-to-be-demolished former Star Lyric Theatre building in Fitzroy’s Johnston Street. After a busy few years travelling and focussing primarily on outdoor murals, its been great to be back in the studio working on canvas again. The show consists of a selection of works on paper, canvas and for the first time I will be exhibiting some photographic pieces. If you are interested in purchasing from the exhibition please email Hannah (contact@r-o-n-e.com) to make sure you are on buyer list.”
