One of our favourite street photographers in Melbourne, Sam Wongs work over the past couple of years has gone from strength to strength, and this lately show of his opening at No Vacancy gallery promises a whole bunch of awesome images from his photographic trigger finger.
“Sam Wong is a Melbourne photographer, specialising in editorial and art based practice.
Quarter Past One is his new project, one year in the making, surveying a busy street corner of Melbourne’s CBD.
With a book published by Diane Inc, and with an exhibition supported by the City of Melbourne, this project hones in on a particular mirror, exposing the action, excitement and mundanity that occurs every day at approximately a quarter past one.”
Its a great concept, and we’re really looking forward to seeing how Sam has captured the vibe of Melbournes lunchtime streets in this new series – we cant wait to head down adn check it out on opening night!
