Something special is happening this week down at BSIDE Gallery in Fitzroy, with Crisis creating his next solo show in-situ at the gallery itself. After a whole bunch of planning, hes got a good start on this interactive display of work, with the culmination of it all happening this Friday night – read on for all the details of the show!
“Each day in the lead up to the exhibition’s closing night, an artwork will be produced from scratch under the scrutiny and influence of anyone or thing that happens to be present, with each piece being a direct reflection of the moment it was created.
From a blank surface to a finished work, CRISIS will be reacting to who or whatever is present close by or online during the artwork’s creation.
From the 13th to the 18th of March, CRISIS will be working from BSIDE Gallery as a live exhibit himself. Come by and see the final pieces of the body come together and even change them as they happen. Being there will influence the outcome of each piece. You might inspire an idea or a colour choice, directly or indirectly, or just talk some shit with old mate while the artwork materialises.
If you can’t make it to the gallery, or you want to keep track of the show before it hits BSIDE, point your instagrams to @worldincrisis to keep track of the show and influence the content of each piece online over the next few weeks.
Join us at BSIDE Gallery on the 18th of March from 6pm to see the final piece hung and help celebrate the end of the project!
For any media or sales enquiries please contact Gallery Manager Ariana Leane – info@bsidegallery.com”
