‘Only Human’ is a new solo exhibition by Drewfunk coming to Vs. Gallery in Richmond, Victoria this August.

Malaysian born artist Drewfunk is best known for his mystical imagery of dragons, koi fish and bonsai trees. This RSCLS crew member and all round nice guy has been an on and off Melbourne resident for years and a much loved artist among artists.

“Bringing his trademark, lighthearted and street smart approach to his works, ‘Only Human’ simultaneously explores the artist’s creative passions, and his struggle to deal with the deeper themes of depression, sorrow and grief that have influenced his personal life.”

This new body of work comes from his 3 month artist residency at Vs. Gallery. It will be showed along some works from his 2016 show ‘Comfort in Tears’ that have never been seen before. We can’t wait to see what this aerosol master brings in Only Human.
