Toys an art exhibition by Priest is coming to The Stockroom Gallery this August.

Bringing his playful and cartoonish style to his very first solo show, Priest goes from the streets to the gallery. You can expect to be captivated by screen prints, sculpture and paintings at the show. The comical approach he takes in his work will bring the child out in everyone.

“Fresh from a year assisting Rone on Empire, Priest was inspired to put together his own body of work. Titled Toys, the exhibition is a darkly comical exploration of the changing meaning of ‘play’ across the course of our development. “

His art takes you back to a familiar childhood memory that isn’t quite right but the nostalgia still shines bright. So get down, check it out and have some fun.
