With his first ever solo exhibition in Australia, Fanakapan brings Pop to Vs. Gallery this November.

‘Pop’ is a collection of hand-finished artworks, sculptures and prints featuring the artist’s unique depictions of hyper-realistic foil balloons. This self-taught contemporary urban artist began painting in the early 2000’s and has been on the rise ever since.

“His iconic 3D helium balloon murals and artworks have become his calling-card, evoking instant delight from children and adults alike. The naive fun that they represent, counter-balances the superb freehand skills on which he has worked so hard to refine. Masterful use of shadow and highlighting create photo-real artworks and murals that seem to literally ‘pop’ out from whatever surface he chooses.”
