“The creative industry has been one of the most heavily affected by the impacts of Covid 19. With exhibitions cancelled, projects postponed and galleries closing due to the economic pressures, there has been no greater time to support the arts. For many artists, the uncertainty and isolation has been a roller coaster of emotions and productivity.
Yet we have all have found a way to persevere, as that is what the creative spirit does. Art helps us make sense of the world.
This virtual exhibition features work created; prior to the pandemic (but never shown due to the above mentioned rescheduling), during the months of isolation and lockdown, as well as pieces created since, in a response to the shared experience and ongoing impacts of the pandemic. Each artist has accompanied their piece with a short blurb to give context to their work.”
You can check it all out and purchase works from ‘Art in Iso’ on their website HERE
The exhibition is currently on display at The Stockroom Gallery, with all works viewable from the windows if you’re lucky enough to live within a 5km range of the gallery (but it’s mainly online) until September 13th.
