This weekend sees a group of Adelaide artists heading over to Melbourne to show a bunch of their work! Collectively known as Print Cult, these seven artists, based out of Adelaide’s Tooth and Nail studio, will be exhibiting a whole heap of stuff this Friday at Top Shelf Gallery, Melbourne.
“Print Cult is a collective of emerging contemporary artists who specialise in printmaking mediums. Since 2010 the Adelaide based collective has held regular exhibitions exploring the potential of traditional and non-traditional printmaking.
On September 27th, Print Cult will travel interstate to exhibit new work at Melbourne’s Top Shelf Gallery. There they will launch their first publication Print Cult • The Book, a profile of the seven artists and a substantial documentation of the collective’s artwork, practise and processes.”
The collective have also produced a 60-page book profiling their work and processes from the last four years of exhibitions, which they’ll be launching on the night – they had a really successful Pozible campaign for this one, and you can check out some stuff from the book here.
They’ve also put out a bit of a preview video for the show which you can check out below – this one looks well worth attending this weekend!
