Got an email today from the dudes over at The Tate – looks like we missed the exhibition opening on Wednesday night, but the best part is still ins tore this Saturday with the launch of the Print & Staple zine fair! With a huge amount of zines on offer from a whole bunch of artists, collectives and zine aficionados, its set to be a hell of a fun down down in Glebe – read on for more details …
“The Heavy Collective & Left Out Store are proud to present Print & Staple 2013. The project brings together a collection of independently published works from a slew of local and international creatives for exhibition and sale at Sydney’s The Tate. A veritable menagerie of DIY zines, paraphernalia and short run paper goods will be on offer for the discerning collector.
Print & Staple launches with an exhibition and night fair on Wednesday 2nd October, coming to a head on the Saturday, transforming the gallery space into zine fair free-for-all. So dust off your shelves, smash your piggy bank and make tracks to Print & Staple 2013.”
Head down to Glebe tomorrow to take a look at the whole shebang, and pick yourself up a whole bunch of collectable zines from the fair!
