The thing about working away is that you miss some of the really ultra cool shit that your friends are doing, which, in this case, I am pretty gutted about. A few months ago my mate GT was rambling about a rad space that he was looking to move into in Fitzroy with a bunch of other talented mofos. Now, just a short time later, they’re ready for business and holding their very first exhibition at their new studio/gallery, Lanes End!

“Looking to bridge that gap between high end fine art and urban contemporary culture, Lane’s End is a new creative project and gallery space located in Fitzroy, Melbourne Australia. With an emphasis on new wave urban pop and post graffiti art, and contemporary fine art. Lane’s End encourages a global mindset and a youthful edge to the world of fine art.”

Again, gutted I cant make it to this – this is an awesome thing done by some of the best people I know, but if youre in Melbourne (unlike me) you can join them! And a better way to spend a Saturday evening I cant imagine – rad art, rad people and a rad new space. Head down and see it all for yourselves!
