We haven’t seen much from him fora little while, but one of our favourites for many a year, Jasper Killick, better known in the street art world as Toggles, will be having a solo show up in Preston this Friday night at Neon Parlour.
Japsers work has always been a curious thing to me, its patterns and shapes and vortexes that sometimes suck you in to other lands and dimensions seem to be exactly reflected by the title of this upcoming show – cerebral reverb. I can just imagine these images as one that emirate out from the mind of this artist, in all its beauty and crazy manifestations.
As he says in the exhibition blurb, Cerebral Reverb is “An eclectic collection of recent physical musings, relating to art/life, technological extrapolation and human impacts on the environment.” – and the description fits. This is a show for people who want to delve into the intuitions and meanderings of neurons amongst the mind of a creative, and it’ll be well worth checking out!
Head down this Friday night to see it all yourselves!
