Our friends at Just Another Agency have curated a fun filled day of art with a bunch of amazing artists. So get down to the Prahran Square Launch on the 1st December from 11am. You will see the likes of Kaff-eine, Poise, Sugar, Glen Downey, Resio, Creature Creature, Cax One, David Lee Pereira, Elle, Heesco, Jeswri, Kaff-eine, Kate Pullen, Kirpy, Ling, Lucy Lucy, Nastia Gladushchenko, Robyn Groves, Silk Roy, Unwell Bunny and more.

Prahran Square is the City of Stonnington’s $60+ million transformation of the old Cato Street car park in Prahran. When complete, the project will deliver around 10,000 square metres of multi-functional urban parkland sitting above 500 car parking spaces.

Paint By Numbers: Kaff-eine

Just Another Paint by Numbers mural is for people of all ages and skill levels, with no previous experience or artistic skill required. Get involved and your hands dirty while helping to create a large scale mural under the guidance of one of Melbourne’s most prolific Street Artists Kaff-eine.

Engaging high profile Melbournian artist Kaff-eine to create the outline for the mural along with a colour grid so that people who attend the launch can come and contribute and paint it. This giant mural will wrap around all 4 sides of one of our 2.4m x 2.4m cubes. Come and get involved in this community mural and show off your paint skills!

Just Another is bringing the third edition of ‘Outside the Box‘ to the Prahran Square Launch event on December 1st.

Outside the Box will feature four of Melbourne’s hottest artists facing off in a unique battle. All artists are placed on a level playing field – no matter their experience, style or technique; only their skills will set them apart.

Painting to the theme of Red and Blue. Each will have the same amount of time to create their work in front of a live audience, on large scale 2.5m x 2.5m panels, using only the red and blue materials provided to them.

Outside the Box is a showcase of Australia’s diverse, raw talent and a visceral exercise in creativity. It’s all about thinking outside the box.

Recollection: Just Another Project Space

Recollection is the retrieval of memories associated with an object, person, time, place, or event of the past. It is an act of conscious awareness, drawing on memory to remind oneself of something temporarily forgotten.
We experience a great deal of change in our increasingly urbanised world. As community landscapes modernise, we lose those familiar places, people and things in the reshaping of the world as we know it. Connections are lost, found and created as we cycle through the environment of our everyday lives embedded deep within the fabric of our community. We create meaning through memories, we maintain a sense of belonging tethered in space and time. When our worlds shift, it is through recollection that we rediscover our place, reminisce, re-imagine and reconnect our past, present and future.

Just Another Agency presents Recollection. A recollection of work seen and unseen, remembered, repurposed and represented by 20 of Australia’s finest urban contemporary artists at the relaunched Just Another Project Space.
